Welcome to the Weaponry-Guild, a guild/club for fans of weaponry of all kinds here on DA. The aim of this guild is to bring weaponry fans together through contests and submissions.
Both sword and gun, past and present, fantasy and sci-fi, all weapons are celebrated here. From the tiniest dagger to the largest solar laser, if it can kill or maim, were about it.
Guild master :
As now is the season for friends and family to come together and give and share, we will do the same. If you would like to partake in this, just reply on here.
What I am wanting to do, is gather the various weapon artists of deviantart, and team them up in duets for a collection of highly unique duet weapons, showcasing the two participants abilities. I will match pairs together based on what program is used, as well as rendering styles and design ideas.
Not only will this be a great way to get to know one of your fellow guild members, these weapons will also be put up into the shop where the profits will be given to a charity for Christmas. So the more items made, the more chances they will sell, the more chances to help out someone who needs it.

& & & HOW THIS WILL WORK:
Two artists will be teamed up based on skills, techniques, and programs used. Two 3d, two photoshoppers, and so on. I will give you eachothers info such as emails and messengers if you allow me to, so the two of you can talk it out and figure out a gameplan.
Both artists will team up to create the ultimate weapon merging. Bow and arrow, gunsword, morning star, or anything you can think of. You can pass the model back and forth, one do render, one do layout, pass a jpeg or psp file around, add onto that picture, one do coloring, one do inkwork if possible, and so on.
The deadline for this is December 20th, so we will be able to get the charities and have them sent out to who needs it. If you have a charity you would like to contribute to as well for the holidays, please, feel free to post it up here and we will see what we do. The more we can help, the better.
